Visitor Feedback

The Farmhouse aims to provide a quiet unspoilt location with plenty of outside space. We hope for the ‘homely touches’ inside the house.

Here are some comments from our ‘Visitors Book’.

“Thank you for a truly delightful, quiet and tranquil stay in your beautiful home. It’s been nothing but a pleasure. Our few days have recharged the batteries.”
Meade’s Family, Nottinghamshire

“We are so happy to be your first American visitors – we loved that age and family history connected with the farm. But beyond the wonderful and magical place, you yourselves have made us feel at home in Wales.”
James and Brenda, Joplin, Missouri, USA

“So – with these ingredients no wonder we enjoyed the history and mystery of this lovely place. Tanyfynwent is an island of tranquillity within this island of interest and beauty. We’ll not say more – or the price may go up!”
The ‘Davies Party’, Leicester

“We’ve had a lovely holiday here and only wish it could have been longer. The tranquillity of the house and its surroundings have been so restful. We’ve enjoyed the daily hedge hog visits.”
Wosakowski and Oates Family, Stockport

“What a lovely house. What more can you say. Perfect.”
Abel Family, Rusthall, Turnbridge Wells

Hulford Family, Thornton, Merseyside

“Another lovely holiday. Highlights: a nest full of young Song-thrushes, Bluebells and Campion in the wood. Thank you.”
Edward and Catherine, Burton-on-Trent

“What a wonderful 2 weeks holiday. All 7 of us and 2 dogs had a perfect time. The cottage was cosy, peaceful and relaxing – making the end of a busy day on the beach a pleasure to come home to. Thank you to Mrs Huws, you thought of everything we could have needed in the cottage and made us most welcome.”
Raines Family, Duston, Northampton

“Three generations of Smiths chilled out here! I have to be boring and say the Games Room was most popular. But the cock-pheasant and the bull came a close second.”
Smiths, Cambridgeshire
